Who holds your data

Plumspace is chat for a workplace. Each organisation runs its own Plumspace server, called a workspace, and the app connects to the address of that server. Everything you write or send, and your account, is stored on your organisation's server, under its control. Your organisation decides who has an account, how long things are kept and who may see them.

We, the publisher of the apps, do not run your organisation's server and do not receive, store, sell or share what is on it. The apps contain no advertising and no analytics or tracking.

What the app sends to your organisation's server

Your account: name, email address, username and, if you add one, a photograph.
What you send: messages, files, photos, videos and voice messages.
Calls: sound and video while you are in a call, carried between the people in it, through your organisation's server when a direct connection is not possible.
For notifications: a token that lets the server reach this device, and your notification settings.
Sign-in: the sessions you are signed in with and the devices they are on.

Notifications

To wake your phone, your organisation's server sends each notification, with the text it shows, through Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android) or the Apple Push Notification service (iPhone). Those services deliver it; they are not given your account.

What your organisation can see

Administrators manage accounts. The owners of a workspace can, for a stated reason, read a private conversation; every such look is recorded, and your own settings in the app, under "Privacy", show who runs the workspace and what they can see of you.

Permissions on the device

Camera and microphone, only when you take a photo, record a voice message or join a call. Notifications, to tell you about messages and calls. Files and photos you choose to send.

Updates

A copy of the app installed from the publisher's site, rather than from an app store, asks that site for the list of newer versions. The request carries nothing about you or your account.

Security

The app talks to your organisation's server over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Your password is never stored on the device.

Deleting your data

Your account and what you wrote are on your organisation's server, so your organisation deletes them. How to ask, and what is removed, is on Delete your data.

Children

Plumspace is for work and is not meant for anyone under 18.

Changes and contact

A change to this policy is published on this page with a new date. Questions about the apps: the developer's email address on the app's Google Play or App Store page. Questions about your account or your data: your organisation's administrator.

Ai giữ dữ liệu của bạn

Ứng dụng gửi gì lên máy chủ của tổ chức

Tài khoản: tên, email, tên người dùng, và ảnh đại diện nếu bạn thêm.
Những gì bạn gửi: tin nhắn, tệp, ảnh, video, tin nhắn thoại.
Cuộc gọi: âm thanh và hình ảnh trong lúc gọi, truyền giữa những người trong cuộc gọi, qua máy chủ của tổ chức khi không nối thẳng được.
Để báo tin: một mã để máy chủ gọi được tới thiết bị này, và các cài đặt thông báo của bạn.
Đăng nhập: các phiên đăng nhập và thiết bị tương ứng.

Thông báo

Để đánh thức điện thoại, máy chủ của tổ chức gửi mỗi thông báo, kèm nội dung hiển thị, qua Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android) hoặc Apple Push Notification service (iPhone). Các dịch vụ đó chỉ chuyển thông báo, không được biết tài khoản của bạn.

Tổ chức của bạn xem được gì

Quản trị viên quản lý tài khoản. Người đứng đầu tổ chức có thể đọc một cuộc trò chuyện riêng khi có lý do; mỗi lần như vậy đều được ghi lại, và mục "Quyền riêng tư" trong cài đặt của bạn cho biết ai quản lý workspace và họ thấy được gì về bạn.

Quyền trên thiết bị

Máy ảnh và micro, chỉ khi bạn chụp ảnh, ghi tin nhắn thoại hoặc vào cuộc gọi. Thông báo, để báo tin nhắn và cuộc gọi. Tệp và ảnh do bạn chọn gửi.

Cập nhật

Bản cài từ trang của nhà phát hành (không qua kho ứng dụng) hỏi trang đó danh sách phiên bản mới. Yêu cầu này không mang thông tin gì về bạn hay tài khoản của bạn.

Bảo mật

Ứng dụng nói chuyện với máy chủ của tổ chức qua kết nối mã hoá (HTTPS). Mật khẩu không bao giờ được lưu trên thiết bị.

Xoá dữ liệu

Tài khoản và những gì bạn viết nằm trên máy chủ của tổ chức, nên tổ chức là bên xoá. Cách yêu cầu và những gì bị xoá: xem Xoá dữ liệu của bạn.

Trẻ em

Plumspace dành cho công việc, không dành cho người dưới 18 tuổi.
